City tour of Dubrovnik, one of the jewels of Croatia. We toured the Stari Grad, the extraordinarily well-preserved Old City.

Still an exquisite walled city today, Dubrovnik’s character reflects its past as an independent city-state that rivaled Venice. Also known by its
Latin name, Ragusa, this was a fortress city that served as the base for a fleet of ships
that carried trade between much of Europe and the Middle East. The city-state’s period of autonomy extended
from 1358 to 1808.
In recent times, some of Dubrovnik’s historic sites sustained damage in the Balkan conflicts of the early 1990s,
but the city has been peaceful for more than ten years and largely restored under UNESCO supervision.
 
 
 
今天早上出發去 Dubrovnik 的 old town 玩。
Old town 人很多，地陪帶我們在 old town 到處走一下，看了幾個 museum
然後解散，我們在 old town 裡面自己去吃午飯，兩點鐘送我們回旅館。
晚上要去當地 host family 晚餐。
我們全團因為有三十七個人，被分成三個 group 每一個 group 被送去一家當地的老百姓家做客。
我們去的這家老百姓非常熱情的接待我們，他們拿出自己做的好幾種酒熱情的招待我們，
有一種酒很濃，像果汁，我喝了一點，味道很不錯，後勁很強。
晚餐很豐富，飯後主人表演當地舞蹈，一直到8：30 才回旅館。
