Sept 3, 2014 Lake Bled • Visit to Kropa Village

Today, we explored the area surrounding Lake Bled and enjoyed the dramatic vistas for which the area is well known.
The third most-forested nation in Europe, Slovenia still contains remnants of primeval forests.

We visited the small village of Kropa, an iron-forging settlement
since the 15th century. One of the oldest villages in Slovenia, Kropa's many houses display lovely architectural details,
such as forged-iron lantern holders, lush window boxes, and massive stone stairways.
The town is nestled in a natural amphitheater among the sloping mountains.

After visiting Kropa, we climbed up to the Bled Castle which offers a wonderful view of Lake Bled and its surrounding area.

今天天氣放晴了，早上九點出發去看一個 old town，回來時 bus 經過 castle 時，我們一些人下車去爬 castle。
看完 castle 後我們是走回旅館，走得很累，累得我漆蓋都痛了，回到旅館坐在椅子上簡直累垮了，動也不能動，到底是老了。
下午六點半 farewell cocktail party，緊接著吃晚飯，今天是這個旅遊最後一晚，差不多的人明天就要離開回家去了，
我們還要去 extension trip 四天，其實我也累得要死，心裡已經想回家去了。
晚飯後和每個人道別，明天開始的 extension trip 只剩十三個人，十八天的旅遊實在很累人，太長了一點，
我們已經老了，我想大概十二天會比較不累。
